The 26th annual Greening Up the Mountains Festival was recently held on April 27th. This historic, fun-filled festival is sponsored by the Town of Sylva and Main Street Sylva Association. Main Street was lined with over 150 vendor booth spaces, and over 12,000 locals and visitors alike attended this year.
Greening Up the Mountains celebrates the arrival of springtime, with vendors showcasing Appalachian art, music, food, and beverages. Tembo Hospitality Group was honored to attend with representatives from Blue Ridge Bootleg, Bear Lake Reserve, and Castle Ladyhawke.
With Blue Ridge Bootleg’s coffee shop storefront opening soon, we were able to welcome everyone into the roastery for an exclusive first look of what’s to come. Blue Ridge Bootleg’s expert coffee craftsmen also served complimentary samples of freshly brewed coffee, which they’re excited to be bringing to downtown Sylva! Attendees of Greening Up the Mountains were even able to purchase bags of coffee at the Tembo Hospitality Group tent.
